Welcome to Wairarapa Eco Farms

Who we are

Wairarapa Eco Farms was born out of a desire to produce quality food with ecological integrity. This all started back in the nineties just after Frank and Josje arrived from The Netherlands.

Over the years that followed, we have developed farming systems targeted at growing good healthy crops with great nutritional value while at the same time reversing the trends of genetic erosion, environmental degradation and the externalisation of costs.

Purchasing Our Products

Through our CSA

Our main activity is to produce healthy fresh food for our CSA members. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and was set up one year ago by a group of enthusiastic Wellingtonians who were after good food with a conscience.

Every week we harvest, pack and deliver fresh organic food to groups in Mount Victoria and Berhampore in Wellington and to Upper Hutt, Alicetown in Lower Hutt and Palmerston North.

By joining the CSA you are guaranteed a weekly supply of affordable, fresh, ecologically produced food that is produced locally. You support a small farm with a big heart and its growers, your local community and ... connect naturally to the source of food and to each other, in the spirit of community!
